Ah, one of the things in life that we take for granted is food. We, as people, can be as forgetful as we can be and take for granted that which was passed down unto us by our forefathers. Don't get what I mean? I'm talking about the food that we eat today couldn't even be on our menus weren't for the forebearers of food excellence. But I'm not talking about just any food you find on the menu. I'm refering specifically to the burger--- one of the most enjoyed snack-food in our generation. Which reminds me... there's a new name for the fish-filled sandwich we eat, the poymacker. Sounds kinda fishy, right? Well anyway I'm not supposed to be posting about food right now since this is an anime blog request site. ^_^

So I would like to take this oppurtunity to greet a friend of mine that I have fondly called poymacker since I've known the name from the internet. Its his birthday! Good for him, may he have more birthdays to come aswell as more luck and trials to make him strong through the years to come until he gets too old to wank himself, heehee. Ah, yes. its been quite a long time since I last posted. How are you all? Me? I'm quite fine as well as surprised since I haven't had any good requests since 5 months ago. Maybe people are very busy these days like me. Hmm...

On to other things, did you know that the Philippines served as a battleground for the U.S. in WWII? Well, now you know. The Americans did not want the war to reach their mainland so they actually used the Philippines and made the people there believe that they were helping out of sincerity. Later though when the war was over, they acted as if they forgot what the Filipinos did for them... I didn't like that one bit. But heres the nice part:

At least Hollywood if not Washington remembers some of the valuable and well as heroic contributions of Filipino fighting men and women during World War II. The new Hollywood movie out in theaters early this August from Miramax films is about a little-known Army Rangers rescue mission in Cabanatuan, Philippines. With the help of Filipino guerillas led by Captain Juan Pajota (Filipino actor Cesar Montano plays Capt. Pajota in the film), Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci and his men forged deep inside enemy territory to rescue 500 survivors of the Bataan Death March, from the infamous Cabanatuan Japanese POW Camp.

The film is based in part on the novel by author Hampton Sides, titled Ghost Soldiers. In this well-researched and fascinating book Sides describes in riveting detail how a group of brash Army Rangers risked their lives to rescue the last remaining soldiers of the Bataan Death March from the Japanese POW camp. The rescue mission, which was made up of approximately 200 American Rangers and 150 Filipino Guerillas, is sadly just one of the many shining moments of courage and valor that has been, for the most part, forgotten by both Filipinos and Americans alike.

In one of the many glowing reviews of Side's book, reviewer Alissa Cunningham notes that "heroes can be found everywhere" from Colonel Mucci, who lead the operation, to Filipina "Clara Fuentes, who risked her life to smuggle information, food, and items to the prisoners" inside the camp.

The movie and the book should provide a boost to our collective "Pinoy self-esteem" that of late has been hammered by all sorts of unpleasant events back home.

Its been one "Holy" of a week, atleast for us Christians in the Philippines anyway. We have a week called the holy week where we practice praying, visiting the dead, and having family gatherings. It has been very boring for me 'cus I had to lie all day long in my room waiting for my downloads to finish. I could go out but as I've said, its a national Holy Week and everyone seems to be in their own homes or out with their own family somewhere. The week won't be officially over until the day after tomorrow.

Well, Naruto news--- Episode 126 was released and 127-128 is one of those great "one-hour" specials. Oh, happy day!

Ah, for those people who just love anime.... I will be accepting Anime Song requests starting somewhere next week. Maybe around Friday. I dunno, it all depends on when my computer would get here and be hooked up through my sister's DSL line. Heehee

Episode 125 of the Naruto anime series has been so nicely released by the nice folks at Dattebayo. This is indeed a very speedy release for them and we of course are happy to see it! The episode is entitled "Allies of Konoha! The Shinobi of the Sand!".

Man oh, man... I'm getting all hyped up over the next episodes.

The next episode is #126, right? So I guess that means Episode 131 will be the 6th season of Naruto. Ain't that grand? ^_^ ,v,,

Episode 124 of the Naruto anime series entitled: The Beast Explodes! Burst, Blow, and Break Through - has been released translated in to English with subtitles by Dattebayo. Dattebayo is a cool group of guys to be able to bring "us", the real fans, more of Naruto to cure our craze that has plagues us since 1999.

Even though it is illegal they still do it. They have my support! Damn you, Cartoon Network! *raises fist and chants a curse*

The popular anime series and manga, Naruto has officially been licensed and will be aired on the Cartoon Network's Toonami show. As a very devout *ahem*... freebie... *ahem* fan, I am sad to say that all torrents links and freebie fansubs are now illegal. Which means, all Naruto fans outside the U.S. are likely to cry all night for not having any Naruto on their Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Hi everyone. I have been busy these past few days, an have not been able to do anything on the net..

Loneliness

Today, I woke up with my body aching all over. I feel the day was made for me to be sad. Carried my sorry ass outta bed and went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a bath.. I didn't go to school. I feel so..... down right now. Top it all off, My ex-girlfriend, the one who said she wanted a "cool-off" with me, is seeing another guy. Yes, I gave her my blessing.... I hope she is happy now. I'm now back to square one. I feel like crying all-of-a-sudden. Maybe its because I'm listening to a Evone's music in her blog...

I wanna die

But its no use dying..
Because when you die, the people around you eventually move on. It just isn't right to leave them to just "move on" like that. I have to give them something to remember me by.. And to do that, I must live on.

Forget everything that happened in the past. Thats what I'm going to do... Even though the past shapes a human-being, it doesn't mean we cannot change. I will promise myself that starting from now on, I won't trust anyone with my heart. Even if its just a crush.

I am back.

Today, I woke up feeling kinda sick and tiredof life. My eyes ached at the morning's heat. I rubbed it whole day until just a while ago. I ate chicken this morning. Typical me doing his thing... Heh.

I didn't wanna go to school this morn.. pro'lly cus I was tired of hallucintaing all night of what I am supposed to do after death. (-_-) but at the same time, I didn't wanna stay home. So I went.

But I didn't go to my 1st class. I don't like walking up to the 6th floor for my 7:30 class at the crack of dawn just to hear a guy lecture us about what I am supposed to see God as. I see him just fine. In perception I mean. I do the right thing when I need to. And so my life progressed, ever so slowly, as before. I came to school around 9AM just in time to sit in me 9:30 class without being noticed. There was no crowd yet.. Then came the bell, the crowd moved in and everything got tight. -_-x

They gave us our mid-term exam papers. And to my greatest and unexpected surprise...
I was the highest O_O

93% = A-

Oh my... ^_^ That was unexpected. I even crumpled the paper when I got it cus I thought I got an "F". But when I reached my seat, I looked over at me back to see if anyone was watching.. none. I opened my paper and there I saw it!

I was waked by a loud knock on me door of my room. T'was Nanay(Mother in Filipino), she was giving me breakfast in bed O_O Thats like, a miracle! Oatmeal.. mmm.... She gave me oatmeal. Heh, Cus' "its healthy". -_-x

I woke up today with an energy to lift a pillow, the highest energy level I've got a few minutes after waking up. Mom and dad, as ussual would go out on a sunday, with a car. So they did just that after she gave me my meal, they went and got into that Isuzu Crosswind I always wanted(IT WILL BE MINE SOMEDAY!) I just hope dad won't sell it.

Well, I'm off to play games on the net... Oh, and... I'm in acafe right now. And a strong-looking biker-lady is looking at my ass. Oh gee. -_- Gotta run now..

Just one of those days I guess, days where your life feels so miserable and you get more punishment as time goes on its business, punishing people. Wondering what made my day so bad? Well, I started the day with a good... I dunno. I just woke up, took a bath, turned the PC on and went to this new RPG that just released. It ain't Diablo, no. Its a web-based RPG game where you take on life's challenges as either a good guy or a bad guy. Its new game, fresh outta beta and already, a lotta people know about it.

I recently spent my tuition money on something.. although I paid some of my tuition costs.. I have 588 bucks lacking 'cus I did something with it. I think I'm in trouble now.

Hey, I woke up 'round 10A.M. today, got a bite, took a bath and went to school. The usual.
*sigh* I wish life was a bit more... adventurous than this. Like fighting evil demons and stuff. OKay, I might be going crazy right now but thats not the point. My life is boring. I don't have a night life and I don't like going out. The PC is virtually my only friend. Heh, Its not like I don't have any freinds in IRL but still... *sighs and shrugs* Sorry, was ranting again.

Which reminds me, my ex and I talked this morning. Was pretty much an "okay" kinda talk but when she was about to go she asked if I could have her blessing.. GAWD! I'm still inlove with her.. I want her back and told her so too. But I guess the band she has right now is the only thing that can make her happy.. And thats good enough for me. So endeth my love-life...

Its Sunday, not a very bad one. It ain't cold, ain't hot either. One thing I don't like about Sundays is that the day after it is Monday. Which means that I have to go to school tomorrow. And on this particular week, we start our mid-terms.. Gah, I hope I don't fail. Didn't study. Barely touched the books and... I "excused" myself from classes. Now I don't even know what they did. Oh my.. I guess I'm in deep waters now. No biggy, I know I can make it! \O/

I'm currently listening to the Spider-man OST song, Ordinary by Train. They're cool. Kinda reminds me about myself.. XD Who knows, Maybe I'm Super-Adam O_O And I save your asses every night battling evil demons. Makes You think, doesn't it?

Well, anyway.. everything is so peaceful outside. No honking, no feets walking.. not evem the dogs are barking. Except for the occasional public transporations here called "Motor-rela"'s honking and sputtering, I guess everything is quiet. Too quiet.. *sigh*

Heya, Just finished playing an online game called Conquest. Now that I'm here, I'll be talling you a bit of myself. ^_^

As I've mentioned this morning, I'm 18. I'm a guy who loves some peace and quiet in his life. Tranquility is what I always want. But too much of it and I'd pro'lly die outta loneliness. I like to listen to song with beat. I have no particular interest in any sort of band or artists right now although I regarded Robbie Williams as one of my fave singers a long time ago. I still think he's cool though. I love the J-pop genre of music. Especially the anime songs. I love anime. I like them pretty drawings of cute people. Heh, Maybe cus I draw a lot too. ^_^

I like doing stuff so ordinary that it sucks to be me sometimes. Like.. Sleeping. Yes, I love to sleep. I go to school only to end my suffering -_-;;

Other than those things I spend most of my time on the net, learning what I can to make people gawk at moi ^_^ Yes, I'm an evil person who has nothing better to do. I like going to the movies, alone. Alone because people either have seen it or dun wanna come. Its like a conspiracy, I tell ya..

So much for the short version of me. In other news, My charcter on Conquest, the game that I play, got demoted cus everyone attacked me. Bunch'a backstabbin freaks.. -_-

By now, you would have already noticed(or didn't you?), that I like RPing. Roleplaying in the sense of adventuring and acting out special roles. Making myself something unreal. I like being able to do something special like.. cast spells and make people grovel at my sword-fighting and/or fist-combat. Heh. In short, I guess that I want to be in a dreamworld. Where I always get the girl >_<
Just beacause I wanna do it doesn't mean I'm a total loser. I'm just... into it. Pro'll because I watch anime too much. Sometimes I even fanatsize about me saving the world O_O

Hi there, name's Adam. I'm 18 years old, a student of Nursing. People refer as the Panda 'cus maybe I look like one. Or maybe because I have a strong affection and/or affinity to the animal. I dunno. Who knows. O_O

I created this blog as a source of information of me to the outside world. I dun wanna be famous or anything, its just that... lets just say that I wanna reach out to people. Which I don't in IRL.
